Express St Johns Wood glaziers offer a complete double glazing service including a local double glazing installer, double glazing repairs and St Johns Wood replacement double glazing.
Double-glazed units take approximately two to three days to order, and all our units come with a manufacturers guarantee. If requested, we can replace the vacuum between the glass panes with a layer of Argon gas, to further facilitate heat management. We can also supply and install triple-glazed units on request for St Johns Wood and the local area.
Argon Gas
In our low emissitivity glass, we can put Argon Gas in the vacuum gap between the panes. Agron Gas is a Noble Gas, and does not react with any other element. The primary use of Argon Gas in double glazing is to slow down convection of heat inside the space. It can improve both the thermal and the accoustic properties of the glass.
